Hannah's 1st Plane Rides!

We had a great time this past weekend visiting Kate, Sean, and Alex in Ohio!

Here's Hannah getting ready for our trip:

I was so excited on Saturday morning for Hannah's first plane rides, but I was also a bit nervous! We actually had to wake her up because of how early our flight was, and she was very confused about why we were in the car while it was still dark outside:

She did really well in the airport while we were waiting for our flight, and we got a lot of smiles from other passengers (thank goodness, I was worried that people would just give us dirty looks as soon as they saw a baby who was going to be on the flight). We even met another family with 2 little kids who were on our flight, so I felt a lot more at ease!

Our first flight went really well - Hannah enjoyed playing and making new friends on the flight (other passengers). She even slept for a while. We weren't sure how she would react to the take-off and landing, but she did great!

We had a little hiccup at the beginning of our second flight - we had to sit on the tarmac in Washington, DC for an hour and a half while they de-iced the plane. Luckily, we avoided the Nor'easter here, and other than having to entertain Hannah for longer than we had expected, we made out pretty well!

Hannah especially enjoyed looking out the window as we landed in Ohio...
