Almost...

Obviously we don't want Hannah to grow up too fast, but we're loving all of her new "tricks." She now laughs on a fairly regular basis, especially when I give her kisses on her belly or her feet. She is also talking constantly (see my next post).

We really enjoy seeing what new things she can do, and here are a few things she's "almost" able to do (meaning that I think they're coming in the near future).

• Roll over from her stomach to her back - she did this yesterday, but had used Dan's leg as a kick-off, so we think it may still be a little bit before she does it alone. She's got the rocking part down though, and she has started sleeping on her side. We're curious to see if she rolls over in her sleep before she does it awake - she's come close a few times.
  
• Hold her bottle by herself while drinking - she has done this for a few seconds on several occasions, but not long enough to actually drink from it. My dad will be so proud - he's been trying to teach her how to do this since she was very little.
  
• Sit up by herself. She is able to sit if we hold her under her armpits. She has also sat for a brief period of time when I was holding just her hands, but she flopped over pretty quickly. She is also able to sit propped up against my body, and has started sitting in her Bumbo chair for a little bit longer than before. She also has made a lot of progress at lifting her head when she's lying down or sitting in her car seat.
• Reaching for things - she has gotten good at grasping things or picking them up, but has yet to actually reach for something she wants. She will lean towards it and stare intently though, so I am guessing it won't be long. She also gets really excited when she sees things she likes (ex: pictures, us, her bottle).
• Sleep unswaddled - she now sleeps with the body of the swaddling blanket wrapped around her stomach and legs and then her arms free. She also likes to cuddle with a lovey when she's falling asleep, which we usually take away from her once she's asleep (sometimes she lets go of it on her own).
