Mother's Day

Mother's Day was an emotional roller-coaster! I was able to sleep in, and Dan and Hannah woke me up with breakfast in bed! They brought me muffins and raspberries and coffee, and an adorable card that they had made.

This card is wonderful - now we'll always have a record of what her hands looked like at this age!

She wore this dress for the first time, and I think it's adorable!

 

 

What is she looking at?

We went out to brunch at Paparazzi, and Hannah was great even though it took a very long time for us to get our food.  She really enjoyed people-watching and listening to the live music in the restaurant.

We forgot to take any photos of me and Hannah, but here are some cute ones that I took of her and Dan at brunch!  They were playing peek-a-boo with the little boy on this page of the book (it says "Where is baby?").

 

 

 

When we got home, we all took a nap together in our bed.  When Hannah was a newborn, she slept in our bed with us and we loved it.  We moved her to her own crib when she was 6 weeks old, and we've missed sharing that time with her since then.  Every so often (usually when we're out of town), she'll sleep in bed with us, but almost always she gets too excited and just wants to jump on the bed.  This nap was so nice and peaceful!

Unfortunately, when we all woke up, Hannah was burning up.  We took her temperature and it was over 102.  We gave her Tylenol, but an hour later her temperature had risen to over 103.  She was miserable, so we took her to the doctor.  They couldn't find anything wrong with her other than the fever, so they sent us home.

We decided to stop and get take-out for dinner since it was Mother's Day, but Hannah threw up in the car on the way to the restaurant.  She ended up throwing up twice more over the course of the afternoon.  It was so hard to watch her feeling so sick!
