Hannah was named for several very special people in our lives that we've lost:
Her first name is in honor of my maternal grandmother, Helen, and Dan's paternal grandmother, Hilda ("Meme").

Shari & Grandma Paula, 1981It took us a long time to decide on her name, but we're very happy we picked the name we did! We've gotten so many compliments on it, and she definitely looks like a "Hannah" to us.
We also have something great to celebrate going forward - Hannah was born on her grandfather Skip (Dan's dad)'s birthday! They're forever connected...
