While we were visiting my parents, we took Hannah to a concert at their synagogue. Julie Geller, the daughter-in-law of my parents' rabbi, is a folk and spiritual singer and she has performed all over the country. She also happens to be the daughter of my aunt's best friend since childhood so they came into town to go with us.
We really enjoyed the concert, even Hannah! My mom stood with her in the back for most of the show, but she said that Hannah reacted to the music. She startled at the clapping though.
That bodes well for us in the future, since Dan loves live music so much. (He was very sad that he didn't get to go to her first concert with her...).
We bought all of Julie's cds, and she even autographed one of them for Hannah!
