Hannah had her 1 month appointment today at the pediatrician's office. She was a trooper, and only cried for about 30 seconds when she got her second round of the Hepatitis B vaccine.
When we described how fussy Hannah has been lately, the doctor thought that she has a mild case of colic. It was actually a little reassuring to me to hear that, even though there's not really anything we can do to counteract it.
We were afraid that she might have a reflux problem, but her doctor wasn't concerned yet - she just wants us to keep an eye on it.
Overall, she said that Hannah is doing great, but she did hear a slight heart murmur. She made us an appointment with a pediatric cardiologist, but was not really concerned at all - she said it was just a precaution, and that if Hannah had been older when she heard it, she wouldn't have even had us do anything. Our appointment is on May 2.
Hannah is gaining weight and growing right on track! Here are her stats:
- 8 lbs., 2 oz.
- 20 3/4 inches
- 35.6 cm head circumference
