First Mother's Day

Today was a great day! Dan (and Hannah) made it a very special first Mother's Day for me.

They each gave me beautiful cards, and Hannah's had her hand-prints on it - it looks like it was quite difficult for Dan to get her to stay still, but I love the result! The funny thing is that even though the ink said it was washable, her hand is still sort of pink (as is Dan's hand). Oops! (at least it's non-toxic).

Here are photos of my card and her hand:

They also gave me flowers and cupcakes!

We went out to brunch at Papa Razzi. We were supposed to go there for brunch for my birthday, but Hannah decided to come a few weeks early. It was worth the wait! The food was delicious, as was the company I shared it with.

My real Mother's Day present is that we're getting portraits taken of Hannah. We tried to go to several stores today to have it done, but didn't realize that you need to make an appointment. Woopsies - we're going to try to have them taken later this week.

Hannah looked very cute today - you can't see it in this photo, but her onesie says "Mommy's Little Lovebird" on it!
