When Dan and his brother were little they loved playing with Husky Helpers, these "action figures" that are themed around construction and other trades. They called them "Chunky Men" and they had a lot of the different sets.
Dan's parents had saved a lot of them and his dad wanted to gather a full collection of the toys, so he recently found a lot of them online. While we were visiting them in July, Hannah fell in love with the cowboys and horses. Nana taught her that horses make a "clip clop" sound when they walk and they acted it out too so Hannah would understand.
Since they had two of that particular set, we took one home with us and Hannah has a lot of fun playing with the horses and the men and their wagon. One of the horses was missing a horseshoe, so Pops bought her a new one and a bull to go with it.
They came in the mail a few weeks ago, and Hannah immediately decided that they should kiss...
She still makes that sound whenever she sees a horse, and I love watching her make the horses "walk" across the floor.
Jacob had a lot of fun playing with them this past weekend too!
