Although we didn't outwardly describe Hannah's birthday party as having a theme, I sort of decided the theme was cupcakes and polka dots (2 of my favorite things!).
I made 2 kinds of cupcakes - chocolate ones with pink (vanilla) icing and yellow ones with chocolate frosting. I also made a giant cupcake for Hannah to try.
It was fun decorating them! I bought the candle at a local party goods store, and the cupcake toppers from a merchant on Etsy.
She wasn't quite sure what to do with the cake at first...
Once she finally tasted it, she liked it, but she was still really confused so we cut off a piece of the cake...
Starting to get into it...
