Hannah's baby naming was last night at our synagogue. Both sets of grandparents and Titi Robin came in for the weekend, and the ceremony was beautiful. Hannah was such a good girl; she didn't cry at all throughout the entire service, and even went to the rabbi without getting upset.
When we got up on the bima (stage) for the ceremony, the entire congregation "oohed" and "aahed" over Hannah. The rabbi said several prayers and explained that Hannah means "grace." He said some really nice things about babies and wishes for her future, and gave us a beautiful certificate. Hannah also received an adorable t-shirt that says "I Was Named at Temple Emanuel."

During the Oneg Shabbat (social hour after services), many people came over to talk to us and told us how wonderful Hannah is and how lucky we are. It was such a nice event...
Hannah is so fantastic!
