We went to the zoo last weekend with Robyn, Jason, Mason and baby Emmy. It was their first time at the zoo, as well as Ezra's first time! We had a lot of fun.

Besides the zoo animals, the Franklin Park Zoo also has a children's petting zoo/farm area that's only open on weekends - the kids loved it!
That silo is actually a twisty slide - Hannah went on it about 20 times, at least. She told us that she thought it had been a silo full of water at first until she saw kids coming out of it. We explained that silos hold grain, not water. So she said this was a silo filled with children!

| What a cool slide! |

They also have a great
playground and other fun things to climb on there. Hannah tried all of the slides on the playground - some of them were huge! They all look like different animals. :)

Dan and Hannah also had the chance to feed the budgies - these photos are hard to see because of the enclosure but it seemed like she enjoyed it! We couldn't bring the stroller inside so Ezra and I just watched from outside.
