Outside Kids!

With the warmer weather this week, the kids have been really enjoying playing outside!

It was drizzling this morning and Ezra just kept looking out the window wistfully and basically begging to go play with the Cozy Coupe.

Hannah has picked up right where she left off in her love of swinging, and Ezra immediately loved it also.  Their giggles and pure joy while swinging make me really happy.  Hannah spends the whole time she's on the swing singing.  Right now it's always "Because It's There" by Ellis Paul, but she used to love to sing "The Ants Go Marching" and a swinging song I made up to the tune of "Swimming, Swimming in the Swimming Pool."

We've already had snack outside at the picnic table twice.  I forsee a lot of that happening this summer!

We still play "drive-thru" - Hannah will stand underneath the platform of the swing set and we'll sit on the "horsey" swing to order.  Yesterday her restaurant was all out of muffins and coffee, so I had to order raspberry tea and a bagel instead.  :)

Ezra also loves helping us get the mail and always wants to walk over there and look inside the mailbox!
