Halloween

We had a lot of fun celebrating Halloween this year!

As you know, Halloween is one of my favorite holidays. I was a little sad that we couldn't host our kiddie Halloween party this year, but it seemed like a bit too much with a newborn!  Oh well - we'll have lots more in the future.

Hannah LOVES flamingoes, so it was pretty much a no-brainer when it came to her costume:

She looks like a movie star!

Ezra also looked super cute in his pumpkin outfit!

This hat was Hannah's!

We took the kids to "Boo at the Zoo" at the Stone Zoo - Hannah was so excited to show the real flamingos her costume.  :)

She also got the chance to "trick-or-treat" there and do some other fun activities.

Happy girl

This photo was so funny I had to include it!

Do you like the sun she had painted on her face?

Dan and I look forward to carving pumpkins every year so we were excited to share it with Hannah. He drew her a "menu" of face parts and she chose what the pumpkins should look like.

She had fun "scooping the goop" (from a book we read about Halloween):

You can see her mouth choices in this photo
She also liked stirring the goop!

Which face is the cutest?

We also brought out the Mr. Potato Head pumpkin accessories and played with them - Hannah really enjoyed it.  We got a new one this year too - a skeleton!

The whole family went out trick-or-treating for Halloween, but Ezra and I came home after a short while because it was cold and rainy.  The kids got in some adorable cuddling afterwards though!

And finally, some photos of Hannah "helping" Daddy rake!
